Aptamil® Gold+ AR is a thickened infant formula and is nutritionally complete for formula-fed infants 0-6 months and suitable for use in a mixed diet for infants 6-12 months.

Specially developed and researched for formula fed infants with regurgitation or mild reflux and may help reduce the severity and frequency of regurgitation episodes.

Thickened formula designed to thicken in the stomach, designed for temporary use or as advised by your healthcare professional.

Aptamil Gold+ AR Infant Formula is not suitable for general use and should be used under medical supervision.

Regurgitation and milk reflux... often affects young infants and are commonly attributed to the immaturity of the digestive system. Most cases of regurgitation will resolve at or before 6 months of age as the digestive muscles become strong. Aptamil Gold+ AR Infant Formula can assist in the nutritional support and management of regurgitation or mild reflux in formula fed infants by reducing the frequency and severity of regurgitation.

How to prepare Aptamil® AR

Our easy-to-follow guide shows you how to prepare a feed safely using our powder formula.

Prep _stage 1_1
  • Wash hands before preparing the feed. Clean and then sterilise all the utensils by submerging bottles and teats in water and boiling for 5 minutes, or using an approved steriliser.

Prep _stage 1_2
  • Boil safe drinking water and allow to cool until lukewarm. Measure the required volume of lukewarm water into a sterilised feeding bottle.

Prep _stage 1_3
  • Use only the enclosed scoop. Fill the scoop lightly & level off using the built-in leveller. Avoid compacting powder.

Prep _stage 1_4
  • Always add one level scoop of powder for each 50mL of water. Stir or shake briskly to dissolve the powder.

Prep _stage 1_5
  • Test temperature on wrist before feeding. Feed immediately (do not store). Discard unfinished feeds.

 

Prepare each cup or bottle separately. For all brands of formula, It is safer to use immediately after they are prepared. Product is packed by weight, not volume. Some settling of the powder may occur during transportation and distribution.
